Another spectacular week for parkrun USA! We had 2,006 finishers across 49 events. It was a hot and humid one pretty much everywhere, but that didn’t stop 480 volunteers helping to run the show and 267 finishers brand new to parkrun. Without further delay, let’s take a look at the pictures:

A real life v500 shirt seen in the wild at Baltimore and Annapolis Trail parkrun! That’s basically 10 years of volunteering, amazing! If that’s as daunting to you as it is to us, you can earn a purple v25 shirt after just 25 times volunteering – much more achievable. How close are you to your next volunteer milestone?

Canyon Rim Trail parkrun in Twin Falls, Idaho was nice and cool on Saturday morning – an anomaly for most of parkrun USA this week. Great job to everyone who made it out there.

The humidity was no joke last weekend, even the sharks were out swimming at City Park parkrun in Iowa City!

A fist pump across the finish line for another successful Coler Mountain Bike Preserve parkrun.

When there’s three 100 shirts in one family, you just have to coordinate! College Park parkrun made sure to keep their parkrunners cool in the heat and humidity with some post-parkrun ice towels, now that’s how to keep your parkrunners happy.

A perfect morning to keep it cool and tail walk with a friend or two. Creekside parkrun’s trail was beautiful as always, and the pictures never cease to impress.

Yep, you guessed it, it was hot and humid at Delaware and Raritan Canal parkrun, too! But not even that was enough to stop the smiles – being at parkrun is just THAT fun!

depot 1

Depot Park parkrun in Florida might just hold the title of “most humid” parkrun last weekend, clocking at nearly 80 degrees with a humidity of 96% – wow!

des moines creek 1

We’ve got to say, we love it when there’s a tailwalker with a tail! Des Moines Creek parkrun had one epically cute barkrunner help fill that volunteer role, and we are so here for it.

howard temin 1

Nothing like a high five on an out and back course like at Howard Temin Lakeshore Path parkrun.

joe creason 1

See, smiling across the finish line is just part of parkrun! Joe Creason parkrun was hot and humid (are you shocked yet? We’re not) but that didn’t stop the parkrunners and barkrunners alike from having a blast. Cooler weather is coming soon, right?

Spectacular volunteer crew at Little Sugar Creek Greenway parkrun.

Love all of these apricot shirts on display at Livonia parkrun! What’s your favorite parkrun attire to wear?

merrymeeting 1

These volunteers at Merrymeeting parkrun are so great they’re literally glowing! Volunteers = superheros. Case closed.

perrigo 1

So many 250 shirts on display at Perrigo parkrun! One day our USA events will be covered with them, just you wait.

We’ll see you next week.
