Another great week for parkrun USA with 2,243 finishers across 54 events. We had lots to celebrate around the country, so let’s take a look at those pictures:
There was a hint of snow on the ground at Canyon Rim Trail parkrun in Twin Falls, Idaho. Do you like parkrunning in the winter? We love it!
Some tiny parkrun volunteers cheering on the City Park parkrunners in Iowa City as they headed out for the double out and back course. Thanks to everyone who helped marshal last weekend to make sure the courses were safe and everyone felt thoroughly encouraged.
Shoutout to all of our volunteers around the country! These four at Courthouse Lake parkrun were bundled up for the cold, looking spectacular in those high vis vests.
Depot Park parkrunners were grateful to be out on the course just a few days after Hurricane Nicole came through Florida. It was a humid morning, perfect for parkwalking with some friends.
Loving the fall colors along the course at Durham, NC parkrun.
What a great group of parkrunners for the 9th Ed Austin Regional parkrun! We love seeing the community grow.
What’s better than a parkrun picture in front of the flag? Not much! Love this photo op at Evergreen parkrun in New Jersey.
And don’t forget to get your first timers picture. Even if you’re just doing a bit of in-state tourism, it’s still worth it! @ Osborn MetroPark parkrun in Ohio.
It was a winter wonderland at Winthrop Trailhead parkrun in Washington. These tail walkers made sure to keep warm around the course. So gorgeous!
And with the tail walkers at Byxbee parkrun, that’s it from us this week. See you next week!
St Patrick’s Day, March Madness, Pi Day… Lots of reasons to celebrate at our 53 parkrun USA events last weekend! Of out 1,955 finishers, we had 264 parkrunners finishing an event for the first time. Let’s take a look at those pictures! If events could join milestone clubs, Evergreen parkrun in New Jersey…
