Cannibals Cave parkrun recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary. Junior parkrunners joined in the celebrations and were delighted to receive their 10 club certificates signed by Bruce Fordyce.
10 June 2017 was Pyjama day for the Mpumalanga parkruns! All parkrunners were invited to come run in their pyjamas and then in turn donate some winter items which were distributed to local charities and the Knysna disaster center.
As always our parkrunners didn’t disappoint as they arrived dressed in Batman & penguin onesies, gowns, slippers, hair curlers & hot water bottles. Everybody had so much fun and luckily the weather played along as well with nice brisk, cold temperatures. Runners at Secunda parkrun were also spoiled with coffee and biscuits.
We collected boxes full of clothes, blankets, shoes & food for the various charities. We would like to thank every single person who contributed to this worthy event and we will definitely do it again next year, when hopefully even more parkruns will participate.

One family – four parkruns in three countries!
