Volunteer Heroine: Karen de Beer

20181110_105911

One of our most valuable volunteers is Karen de Beer.

Karen has been volunteering since March 2016 and has volunteered on 125 different occasions.  Every week she greets the parkrunners at the entrance gate with a smile and gives a First Timers Briefing to anyone attending for the first time.

Karen is there again at the end of every parkrun handing out finish tokens with a smile.
