Volunteer Heroine: Aneria Bouwer

Aneria Bouwer was one of the first people to contact the team at Melkbosstrand parkrun saying that she would like to get involved.

 

Aneria started training at other parkruns and is a very valuable member of the core team. She not only helps out as volunteer co-ordinator, but also does results, helps with setting up and has done all the other volunteer roles, including standing in as Event Director. She has a great sense of humour, is a team player and nothing is ever too much to ask.

 

Melkbosstrand parkrun would not have been the success it is if it was not for Aneria.
