This coming Saturday will be my 1 year anniversary with parkrun. I remember my first time like it was yesterday. 5km sounded very far and that morning whilst driving there I doubted my own sanity. I did it that day in exactly 60 minutes. I was exhausted. Earlier this year I convinced one of my friends to join me. Her initial response was that she doesn’t run. I just want to say a BIG thank you for the team that makes it possible for so many of us to participate on a weekly basis.
We are so proud to have completed our first parkrun this morning!
